The new generation's
Teen of Steel as depicted on the WB TV hit Smallville.
Probably the best TV show to focus on Superman never shows
us him in his costume. No flights, no tights was the slogan
for Smallville. The no flight thing has since fallen by the
way side on a couple of episodes, and we've seen the cape on
a premonition on one episode, but no classic Superman
costume scenes so far. Smallville focuses on Clark Kent
before he becomes Superman. Tom Welling is working on his
movie career besides his popular TV show, but he won't be
starring in the new movie Superman Returns. That huge role
goes to a new actor named Brandon Routh.
