Earth 2 Superman Earth 2 Superman was thought to be forgotten about since the 1980's Crisis on Infinite Earths, but he has returned recently in the new Infinite Crisis mini series. The Earth 2 Superman was the one that was featured in all comics before the Silver Age. So the World War 2 generation were actually reading the adventures of Superman from an alternate dimension.
